First Baptist Church of Kamloops now has a church choir!

We're excited for Good Friday and Easter, which are quickly approaching! And as these holidays approach, we are excited to see our First Baptist Choristers rehearsing Ut Vitam Habeant. Yes! We are pleased to announce that First Baptist Church of Kamloops has established a Church Choir. Our choir is thrilled to work together to glorify God with their voices.

The plan for now is to sing this lovely Latin song Ut Vitam Habeant on Good Friday as well as on Easter Sunday (along with a few others, of course), but the meaning of the Latin expression, "Ut Vitam Habeant" under-girds everything that our Choristers are striving for with their vocal gift. The Latin means, "That they may have life," and it comes from John 10:10 where Christ declares that His mission is, "I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly." The purpose for First Baptist Church of Kamloops Choir is to lift high the name of Jesus with praise and adorationg, exulting in this new life that God has given, and encouraging others to praise Him as well, that His glory may sweep across our city.
