On March 3-5, 2017 First Baptist Church would like to invite you out for our annual Men's Retreat at Sunnybrae Bible Camp. This year we are going to learn the tricks of the trade for smoking and curing our own meat. Our team's finished product will determine victory as church is pit against other churches in our Association. Don't worry, we will provide opportunities for you to hone your abilities. Activities over the weekend include instruction by Bruce Christensen on proper meat cutting technique, construction of a team meat smoker, and the making of original sauces and rubs.

Our speaker this year is Kyle Nichols. Currently he is serving as intern associate pastor at Princeton Baptist Church. Having received his Bachelor of Arts from Prairie Bible College, he is now finishing his Masters of Divinity through the Immerse program offered by Northwest Baptist Seminary. With the recent addition of a little girl, Kyle and Rachel (his beautiful wife) are now adjusting to life with three (two girls and a boy). He is lucky to work occasionally at a ranch in the mountains where they let him play with chainsaws and tractors, and where he can get his fill of hunting, fishing and even the odd blister.

Sign-in is at 7 pm on Friday night, ending around 1 pm on Sunday. Please bring any equipment or materials you may have on hand to give you that competitive edge in building your team's meat smoker. SBC will be providing the meat.
