The Holy Spirit at War

There is an aspect of the Christian life that is violent. Followers of Jesus are always called to be meek and gentle, kind and compassionate in all their dealings with others. But there is a mean-streak to the Christian that is quite ruthless. Paul teaches us in Romans 8:12-13 that this mean-streak comes out when Christians are living faithfully according to the power of the Holy Spirit, but it isn't directed against others. What is this mean-streak? And where is the violence directed when the the Holy Spirit is at war? Follow along as Pastor Josh unpacks Romans 8:12-13.
