When you've been wrestling with the world and trying to proclaim faithfully God's light but have come up against any kind of struggle, we are tempted to question "Where is God in all this...where is the Lord in the midst of all this suffering?" The answer to that question, which we are reminded of in this closing chapter of 1 Peter is this...God is always with us. He showed us what it is to know him by revealing to us, when the world is at its worst, it needs the people of God to be at their best.
