That I found them interesting doesn't mean that I necessarily agree with or endorse all of the ideas presented in the posts, but that I found them to be thought-provoking. They may benefit you as you prayerfully consider your area of shepherding and stewardship, which has been given to you in trust by the Lord. (They are listed in no particular order of interest.) Please post your comments to discuss any article that strikes your interest. If you have any recent blog posts that you would like to nominate, please send the link and your reasons for nominating that post to .

Thinking About Money

Seth Godin has been thinking about money and offers a few, helpful bullet points. Here’s a sample: “In our culture, making more money feels like winning, and winning feels like the point.”

Christian giving is to be marked by self-sacrifice and self-forgetfulness, not by self-congratulation. —John Stott

What’s Inside?

What’s inside a cup of coffee? This video explains.

Cutting and Lies

This is a helpful article about cutting. “In this blog, I'll highlight two lies which may make it difficult to turn to God. These lies produce emotional responses which make it hard for us to turn to Jesus. These lies put us in a bad place and leave us there.”

Family Ministry

Timothy Paul Jones doesn’t blog often, but when he does it’s usually worth a read. That’s the case with his latest article “Family Ministry: How a Biblical Worldview Shapes the Way We Teach Our Children.”

The Great Challenge to Christian Evangelism

Al Mohler: “For Christians, regardless of nationality, this is the great challenge that should be our urgent concern. Our concern is not mainly political, but theological and spiritual. And, all things considered, Islam almost surely represents the greatest challenge to Christian evangelism of our times.”

Our fear of boredom is simply a fear of coming face to face with ourselves

The first paragraph aside, this is kind of an interesting article. “We now live in a culture that is pathologically fearful of being bored. Indeed, I think the church has been heroically counter-cultural in its defence of that little bit of the week that one can reasonably expect to be just a little bit dull, where our seemingly insatiable desire to be endlessly absorbed by some diverting intervention is challenged.”
